Whether you were hired by someone or you own your very own escort
agency, whether you have personal experience in escorting or have second degree
knowledge of the business, we have some essential qualities that you should
mark down as an escort agency manager. You see, even if you have several years
of experience as an escort yourself, you need to remember that this industry
like all others is undergoing change, and what might have been valid at the
beginning of your career might not stand true now. Similarly, having friends
who are escorts or reading all the escort autobiographies and blogs you could
get your hands on do not instantly qualify you as a know-it-all in this
business. When you work with people, who work with people there are so many
variables to consider that you have to remember to keep an open mind and treat
your employees and collaborators well.
1. Maintain open lines of
communication. This is particularly important if you have staff other than
escorts. If you have someone working in reception scheduling encounters and/or someone
doing background checks, both you and your companions should feel comfortable
talking to these individuals. Don’t micromanage their tasks, but make sure to
supervise them accordingly and offer constructive feedback, especially if they’re
new. The same stands for your agency’s escorts. They should all feel
comfortable coming to you with questions and even problems.
2. Keep your word. If you
offer your companions perks for working at your agency, keep your word and always
ask for new suggestions on how you could improve your business. After all, if
you want to expand your roster, you have to turn your business into a little
corporation. Offer daycare, medical check-ups, communication workshops, massage
classes etc. If your companions begin to feel like they’ve learned all there is
to know from you and your agency, they can easily start their careers as
independent escorts. However, if you offer bonuses that they couldn’t have any
other way, then they’ll definitely consider staying for longer.
3. Be positive and enthusiastic.
As an escort agency manager you have two main goals: making a profit for your
business and keeping your escorts happy. Neither is more important than the
other because your business will fail if you lose track of either goal. The
same way your companions have to keep a positive and enthusiastic demeanor with
clients, so too should you grace them with the same level of courtesy. Of
course, this doesn’t mean you should start being a push-over. Simply find the
right balance between being authoritative and being approachable.
4. Be flexible and empathic.
Of course your agency will have its set of rules and values that your escorts
should adopt, but when working with people things can get messy. You know very
well that the client isn’t always right, so trust your escorts and empathize
with their situations, whichever they may be.
5. Be creative. It doesn’t
matter how long this type of service has existed in the world. Get creative
with advertising for your business and putting your escorts on the market.
Remember to update your website constantly, both text and photos, ask for
reviews from happy clients, start a blog, ask your companions to write guest
posts, send out newsletters to your returning customers and make videos. You
can do all this on Escortbook and more, so take advantage of everything our
websites have to offer for your agency!
