As an agency your ideal is to probably find experienced escorts, who
know how to turn their clients into repeat customers, but the truth of the
story is that most business-savvy companions are usually independent. So you’re
left with a wide assortment of new would-be escorts, who want to get into the
industry. But what do you do? You can’t just add them to the booking schedule,
make them sign a disclaimer and that’s it. If you want them to work out and
have a successful collaboration, you have to teach them a couple of things.
Here are our suggestions, starting with the interview:
1. Tell them what makes your
agency special. Perhaps you organize free medical check-ups every three
months because the health and wellbeing of your escorts is a priority for you.
Perhaps you offers bonuses to the companions who have a number of encounters
per day, per week or per month to show you prize the hardworkers. Or perhaps
you offer free daycare (or, maybe, in this case, “nightcare”) so the escorts
with young children can rest assured their kids are safe. Look at what
corporations are doing to keep their employees happy and think about the things
you could do to keep your companions loyal. We get accustomed to the money, but
the perks are always the best bonus. Don’t you agree?
2. Style and direct their first
photo shoot. In the selfie generation you’ll have a hard time finding a
person who is uncomfortable behind a camera, but that doesn’t mean that you
should rest assured that new escorts know what they’re doing. Most agencies don’t
have a 24/7 coach, but we’re sure you have at least one experienced companion
who wouldn’t mind lending a helping hand to a new colleague (of course, unless
your agency’s manager is experienced in the industry as well). Help the new
escort choose the right outfit, location, photographer and poses. After all,
you know that visuals are what sell an escort on the Internet.
3. Talk it out and put them in uncomfortable
situations. We know this sounds a little counterproductive, but it’s better
if you put them in an uncomfortable situation than have a client freak them out
later. In today’s day and age, most people are very open with their sexuality,
but we still have our pet peeves, so try to help new escorts realize their
limits and impose them from the start. It’s also important for you to know
which clients you’ll refer to which escort this way. Ask them if they’re
willing to put on a strap-on or sing the national anthem while doing reversed
cowgirl. This could take several hours. Be prepared!
4. Teach them about safety
protocols. You can’t expect everyone to instinctively know how to act
during an encounter, so teach your new escorts the basics of safety and how to
react during emergency situations. Offering a defense class or two can go a
long way to loyalizing your new companions.
5. Help your escorts understand that they’ll never stop learning. You can train them for a week, but
they’ll never be prepared for everything that they’ll encounter as an escort.
Make sure they know they can always come talk to you and be prepared to have a
therapist on hand. Working in an industry that is still judged in the public
eye can take its toll on some people, so it’s important to create the sense of
a tightly-knit community, where people can speak freely.
Agencies, make sure you outline all these perks and more on your
websites, as well as anything else you believe is important when attracting new
escorts. And what about you, dear escorts who work/have worked in agencies?
